About Image Watermark

Image Watermark stamps a line of text onto a picture, either in one corner, in the center or repeated across the whole image at an angle. You control the wording, size, color and opacity. It is meant for photographers and sellers who want a visible copyright mark on a preview without opening a full image editor.

How to use it

1. Drop an image in. The starting text is a copyright line, placed at the bottom right.
2. Type your own words into the Watermark text box.
3. Set Font size between 12 and 120 pixels and Opacity between 10 and 100 percent.
4. Choose a Position: Bottom right, Bottom left, Top right, Top left, Center or Tiled, and pick a Color.
5. Check the preview, then press Download to save the marked PNG.

The word is repeated in rows across the whole picture, rotated 30 degrees upward, at 24 percent effective opacity (60 percent times 0.4).

When to use it

• Marking sample photos before sending them to a client for approval.
• Adding a copyright and year line to the corner of portfolio pictures.
• Labeling screenshots as DRAFT or CONFIDENTIAL before circulating internally.
• Discouraging casual reuse of product images posted to a marketplace.

Questions about Image Watermark

Why does the watermark look tiny on my big photo?

Font size is measured in the source image's pixels, capped at 120. A 6000 pixel wide photo makes even the largest text look small, so use the Tiled position or resize the picture first.

How does Tiled differ from the other positions?

It repeats the text on a grid, spaced by three times the font size, and rotates each copy. To keep the photo visible it uses only 40 percent of the opacity you selected.

Can a corner watermark be removed?

A corner mark can be cropped out or painted over. Center and tiled placements are much harder to remove cleanly, which is why they are used for high-value previews.

Can I use a custom font or an image logo?

No. The mark is text only, drawn in bold sans-serif. Nothing happens if the text box is empty, so enter at least one character.
